Platja del Clot – a natural window into Alcúdia’s quiet side
Just a few steps away from the buzz, Alcúdia reveals its calmer face: Platja del Clot is a peaceful stretch of coastline where nature and sea seem almost untouched – perfect for quiet moments, short walks, and a different perspective on the island.
Platja del Clot – the wild cousin of the bathing beaches
If you walk from Alcúdia’s old town towards the sea, you’ll find a very different place not far from the urban beach area: Platja del Clot.
This beach isn’t about classic sunbathing. Here you’ll find a mix of flat rock slabs, narrow sandy areas, wild shrubs, and direct access to raw nature. A striking feature: the adjoining wetland with the Torrent des Clot, a small stream that occasionally carries water and provides habitat for birds and plants.
The area is not developed for tourism. No sunbeds, no music – just a forgotten kind of silence, broken only by the wind, the cries of seagulls, and the occasional footsteps of other walkers.
Many people use this area for short seaside walks, jogging routes, or simply as a place to breathe.
A place that asks nothing – except to just be.
By car
You can park near Carrer de Salzes or around the Es Clot area. Parking is usually free, but not always directly at the shore.
