Cala Victoria – hidden, rocky, and almost always deserted
Small, hard to find, and wonderfully secluded: Cala Victoria is a tiny natural cove nestled in the coastal forest of La Victòria. Those who discover it get a piece of the Mediterranean all to themselves.
Cala Victoria – a mini cove with wilderness flair
Just a few meters from the road to Ermita de la Victòria lies a small cove that isn’t even marked on many maps – Cala Victoria.
It’s little more than a rocky cut in the coastline, but it offers a natural access point to the sea, framed by rocks and shrubs.
The cove is:
– not signposted
– only reachable by a narrow footpath
– not an official bathing spot – but publicly accessible
What it offers is absolute peace, clear water, and a feeling of “wilderness by the sea.” Snorkelers will enjoy it when the sea is calm, but there’s no comfortable entry – the edge is steep, uneven, and partly slippery.
Those who find the access will experience a mini-cala that is often completely empty.
Perfect for nature lovers, adventurers, or simply people who don’t want crowded beaches – but please: no littering, no barbecues, and show respect for the surroundings.
Those using the footpath should be surefooted and proceed at their own risk. Perfect for quiet moments, snorkeling in calm seas – but not suitable for families or inexperienced visitors.
