Platja de S’Illot – Natural cove with island view and picnic area

Platja de S’Illot is not your typical postcard cove – but a place where nature, peace, and Mediterranean charm blend effortlessly. If you're looking for a change from sand and sun loungers, this is your spot.

Platja de S’Illot – Rocky cove with soul and views

Just a few kilometers from Alcúdia, past Mal Pas – Bonaire, lies Platja de S’Illot, a rocky but charming stretch of coastline directly across from the small island "S’Illot" (“The Little Island”).

Instead of sand, you'll find smooth rock slabs and pebbles that gently slope into crystal-clear water. Water shoes are recommended for entry – if you go in, you're rewarded with amazing underwater views: snorkeling is excellent here, and it’s also a favorite launch spot for stand-up paddlers and kayakers.

Along the shore, you'll find shady picnic tables under pine trees, a small barbecue area (not always permitted!), and an open view of the Bay of Pollença. The spot is especially popular with locals who come here on Sundays – far away from mass tourism.

Note: This area is part of a protected natural park. Open fires and littering are strictly forbidden. Please act respectfully!
