Platja de Sant Pere – small, charming & with a view of the bay
Just a few minutes from the old town lies this almost intimate beach. Platja de Sant Pere offers the perfect mix of family-friendliness, panoramic views, and a laid-back atmosphere – ideal for those who prefer things small and fine.
Platja de Sant Pere – Mini bay with maxi view
Platja de Sant Pere is one of the most popular small bathing bays in the Alcúdia area – and for good reason:
Nestled between rocky outcrops, it offers a short but fine sandy stretch of coast that feels almost private.
Despite its small size, you'll find everything here:
- Gentle access to the sea
- Clear, turquoise water
- Natural shade from trees along the edge
Families with children especially appreciate the manageable layout, the sheltered location from the wind, and the good proximity to the residential area Mal Pas – Bonaire.
A real highlight is the panoramic view over the Bay of Pollença. If you stand slightly elevated or climb the rocks to the side, you can see all the way to the Formentor peninsula.
Locals also love this beach – you’ll often see fewer tourists and more residents who consciously enjoy their time by the sea.
Just a few hundred meters away you’ll find **Platja de Sant Joan**, which is ideal for a short detour or a change of beach scenery.
By car
Follow the signs to Mal Pas – Bonaire, then take the road “Camí Vell de la Victòria”. There are a few parking spots near the beach – often taken, so it’s worth arriving early.
By bus
Best with lines that go to Alcúdia centre. Stop: Pol·lèntia (e.g. lines 302, 315, 322, 323, 324, 325, 327). From there it's about a 3 km walk heading north.
Or take line 323 to Bonaire (stop: Es Mal Pas). From there it’s approx. 1 km walk to the beach.
These TIB Mallorca lines take you to Alcúdia. From there, you’ll have to walk about 3 km.
